The major USA airlines  increased restrictions and fees for baggage (updated as of November 13, 2025)

• Bag limitations 
• Bag and optional fees:

New requirements 

1 checked bag

62 linear inches (length + width + depth) 

• Less than 40 pounds. 

1  Carryon bag

must fit under the seat or in overhead bin.

22x14x9

1 personal bag

• must fit under the seat 
• Dimensions not exceed 18 x 14 x 8 inches (45 x 35 x 20 cm)

NOTES: strollers and medical or mobility devices DO NOT Count as your personal item or carry-on 

 MORE NEW RULES

• 100ml liquid rule  increased to 2 liters
• passengers no longer need to remove liquids from their hand baggage. 
  
• Starting  May 7, 2025. REAL ID  for all flights, including domestic.
